The Carmon Group Places James Bascom as New Product Development Manager with Vitamix Corporation
The Carmon Group is pleased to announce that James Bascom has joined Vitamix as their New Product Development Manager. James will be responsible for managing the new product development function of their engineering group and will work closely with the innovation and mature products engineering teams, sales & marketing and operations to successfully advance new products for the company. This is a newly created role due to the phenomenal growth of the business both domestically and internationally.
Scott brings over 25 years of product development and engineering management experience to Vitamix. Prior to joining the company, he held various leadership roles with Stanley Black & Decker/DeWalt. He began his career with GE Aircraft Engines as a design engineer. James is a licensed professional engineer (P.E..) and holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
