The Carmon Group recruits Michael Newell for Plasan Carbon Composites

CGI is pleased to announce that Michael Newell has joined Plasan Carbon Composites as the company’s VP of Commercial Operations. Michael will be responsible for the oversight of all commercial related functions reporting to Plasan’s President / CEO.

Michael previously held a variety of Sales and Program Management roles for Martinrea-Honsel, a global manufacturer of powertrain and chassis components serving the automotive and heavy duty truck markets. Prior to Michael’s tenure with Martinrea-Honsel on the Commercial side of the business, he was employed by the DaimlerChrysler Corporation where he served in a variety of Supply Chain related roles for the company.

Plasan is an engineering-driven Tier 1 supplier of carbon fiber parts designed for mass reduction in low and mid-volume platforms.
